Holy Ale is an Irish church craft beer inspired by the Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland. The concept of this beer is to emphasize where the beer came from. The design choices include the traditional Irish green, four leaf clover, and decorated elements found in the church.
The Catholic Gothic typographic treatment was used to connect to the style of the old church. The Saint’s image is illustrated like a stained glass window as well as the ingredient icons. In shape of the church, the beer carrier was made of laser-cut wood entirely to highlight the church concept while adding a twist of using none tradition material for a beer carrier. Holy ale is the savior of the day; and according to science, alcohol is the solution.
