Zodiac Tea is a green tea brand inspired by the Chinese Zodiac calendar. The concept of the tea is more than just a tea, it serves as a zodiac calendar and consumers can use it to find out what animals they are based on their birth years which are written on the box’s sides.
The top of the tea box can be rotated which reveal the characteristics of the 12 illustrated animals on the sides. Each tea bag has an illustrated animal that matches their years as well as its ranking order on the tea tag. To highlight on the “Asian sensitivity” theme, the typography and decorated elements are picked from the animal illustrations to create unity for the brand.
